six word fridays: the best

It’s the little things that make life the best. They help me to appreciate what is good, what is working out right. Especially when life piles on difficulties just to make me sweat.

In the end, the best is wherever I choose to find it. And so here are a few of the things- the moments, activities and pleasures – of what I think is the best. (Aside from Six Word Fridays of course!)

pride and prejudice: best book everSix Word Fridays

lazy summer afternoons by the lake

acceptance and love, despite one’s foibles

weekends: full days with my daughter

unconventional, unpredictable poetry of Emily Dickinson

pitter, patter – rain against the pane

chocolate – which i mention a lot 😉

k1, p1 to create something beautiful

music – something with a good beat

my cats, stretched out lazy long

pronouncing «la beurre d’arachide» – lyrical

one moment to myself to savour
