six word fridays: giving thanks

giving others an acknowledgement of appreciation

more than a flipped out, ‘thanks.’Six Word Fridays

takes so little, means so much

kicking lip service to the curb

and demonstrating appreciation; this gratitude felt

to say ‘hey, i see you.’

‘i’m thankful for what you did.’

‘i’m thankful for who you are.’

how often do i give thanks?

for acts of kindness, thoughtful words

for enduring support and generous love

probably not enough, not nearly enough

i am thankful for this life

and the people within sharing their’s

delivered unconditionally, imparted with earnest will

so it’s here that i convey

the carriage of a grateful heart

What a beautifully written reminder that “Thanks” is much more than a word. It’s an attitude, a gift, one we should all embrace.

    This is wonderful……….cj
