Six Word Fridays: near

I don’t have nearly enough time.

Really, isn’t that always the way?

Tick tock – the clock in perpetuity.

Balance of life and work…unrealistic.Six Word Fridays

I can’t have it all now.

Consumed by doing – that’s no fun.

Setting priorities instead. Keeping them near.

So I can stop juggling everything.

This Six Word Fridays entry was a rushed one! My goal is to slow things down over the next while. Here’s hoping I do just that. To my Six Word Fridays peeps – sorry I didn’t get to read your posts from last week. Had a family emergency. 🙂

Thanks Adrienne. I’m trying to focus on priorities. Feeling stretched thin of late. 🙂

I agree with CJ. I like your take on nearness in terms of time. Sometimes we do get fixated on that next task or goal and forget to slow down. the brass ring will always be there. No need for us to be consumed with it lying just beyond our grasp.

Mel, I’ve been feeling the same way myself. The demands on my time have been weighty and I can’t seem to slow things down. Definitely looking forward to the weekend.

      Belinda,

Hope you got to slow down this weekend and just relax. I got to – a bit. 🙂

Never nearly enough time, especially when a wrench gets thrown into your daily life. (!!! injury! cast! one-handed diaper changes! YIKES. !!!)

I need to follow your lead and slow down. I had no idea about your DH and I’m so glad he’s okay. What wonderful neighbours you have!

Sometimes we spread ourselves too thin trying to juggle too many things. It’s hard and we need to remember to take a moment to take it all in. 🙂
