six word fridays: enough

i have had enough of…

laundry, dirty dishes and toothpaste smears in the bathroom sink (i need a house-cleaning service STAT)

bumper-to-bumper traffic and no alternate route

my city’s current mayor; i want change (Ottawans, whatever your choice, make sure you vote Oct. 25th!)

the Ottawa Senators slow start to the season; c’mon team!

DD’s ongoing dance with diaper rash (like seriously? it’s back again!?)

i can’t get enough of…Six Word Fridays

reading, be it online or off

Jeopardy (i’ll take European History for $1000, Alec)

sushi…oh nom-nom-nom…i could eat it everyday

hearing DD giggle…for realsies, it’s the best sound ever

Kiva – i love how my microloan keeps going and going…

the Whedonverse or Buffyverse – whatever you want to call it:

Cordelia: What’s going on? Oh, God. Is the world ending? I have to research a paper on Bosnia for tomorrow, but if the world’s ending, I’m not gonna bother.

Giles: You can’t walk home alone, Buffy. It isn’t safe.

Buffy [to Giles]: I don’t know you.

Cordelia: Did something take her memory? He’s Giles. Giiillles. He hangs out here a lot.

Buffy: Cordelia, could you please drive me home?

Cordelia: Of course. But if the world doesn’t end, I’m gonna need a note.

You’ve teased out the inherent contradiction in the word enough. Sometimes having enough is the greatest thing in the world, sometimes you just can’t get enough no matter how hard you try, and then there’s enough is enough!

I would like one of the
Candidates to be enough. Not so.
I too can never get enough
reading, giggles. Sleep, quiet, time, love.

I need the house cleaning service, too. and Buffy-cool. We need more strong heroines in our societal vocabulary.
