looking upon trees, branches shivered bare
from Wind gusting its boastful breeze
makes me impatient for verdant spring
leaves rustling from Wind’s touch still
but this time, a gentle caress
where the trees sing in response
awoken from a cold winter’s nap

The weeping cherry is lovely!
One of the trees in my backyard decided to bloom this week. I’m allergic. Go away, fake spring! Once a year is all I can handle. 😉
