Well, she holds a different view,
Stout penny-pincher that she is.
Choose one, the other, or none.
My common sense agrees, oh but…
My heart asks…why not both?

I don’t know what it is about the changing of seasons but I always want new shoes and a new handbag. Sigh…is it the same for you?

Such a sad dilemma! Why can’t our wallet be more like a fairy godmother? Just sprinkle a little magic dust and Poof! We can have it all!

Why not both, indeed?! I totally understand both sides. The money issue is a quandary.
And, I used to absolutely hate to shop. But, lately I’ve been craving retail therapy for some reason. Something must have changed with the birth of my second daughter.
I don’t love shopping for clothes but shoes and handbags…yes indeed.
Hope you get to enjoy some retail therapy soon!

Me too! The change of the seasons. I so adore the trend this fall – orange is my all time fav colour. I bought a purse in that colour, but now I would like a pair of purple shoes, a camel coat, and new brown boots! Oh I also purchased a new hat…purple!
I would love a camel coat too! Can’t wait to see your hat and purse.
it’s not just in fall for me… any time is a good time to get a pair of shoes… but my wallet doesn’t like that empty feeling.
Why not both
I feel for you…. 
Here is a secret: I wear flip-flops more or less all year round. (We don’t have weather, so it’s pretty doable.) But then fall comes along and reminds me that soon we’ll have a bit of rain, and I might want to own a pair of actual shoes! This year I’m coveting a particular pair of boots… but oh, that pocketbook has other ideas.
