Hold on tight, my little one.
Life is one crazy, bumpy ride.
It’s what you make it though.
Grumbling the dips, “woebegoning” the lows
Won’t get you anywhere of worth.
(Believe me I know.) So instead,
Grasp tight to life’s good, and
Discard what doesn’t give you joy.
I’ve been a delinquent Six Word Fridays contributor! Life has been insanely busy and oh how I’ve missed this meme!
The above photo was taken the Easter long weekend – DD’s first carnival ride! She loved it. I did too as it was the perfect pace for me…nice and slow…
Now tell, me what are you holding onto? Does it give you joy?

Great advice! It’s definitely a hindsight is 20/20 thing except we didn’t listen to our parents ourselves either did we? So we make our own mistakes and figure things out on our own. Now I know how my parents felt when I went the opposite direction of their advice…but I learned 🙂
A perfect reminder after a long week! So many things I need to discard 🙂
A great reminder, Mel. So happy she had a great time 🙂
Looks like fun!
Good advice. It’s the sorting out what to hold and what to discard that always trips me up…
